I would like to make some feet for a freeform stand.
Is making the putty as simple as adding water (cold or warm?) bit by bit until it reaches a clay like consistency for molding?

Please explain
Are you actually talking about akadamia for potting...and if so...what is the purpose of this. Has it got something to do with what Glenda was talking about re it being a repellant for bugs???

I was told that you just mix clay with water and vinegar and add some toilet paper and mix them well.Anja wrote:I would like to make some feet for a freeform stand.

Loretta, the sifted Akadama dust can be used to make clay / putty / muck. I merely want to add a leg to raise one side of a petrified wood stand to lean on without scratching the base.Loretta wrote:Please explain![]()

Loretta - it is the diatomite that is reported as being a bug repellant.Loretta wrote:Please explain![]()

Re: Make Putty from Aka?
Thats interesting. I was just wondering what would happen if I added some of the Akadama dust to some of my clay. Might have to try some.
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
