DESERT ASH - Fraxinis
Nebari Spread 20 cm Trunk above nebari 12 cm
Height 30 cm
foliage spread 35 cm
$400 pick up only Inner West Sydney
This ash is very short, squat and with wonderfully textured bark, excellent movement and lots of character. It is known as the 'Ashosaurus' because the heavily textured bark and the shape remind one of a dinosaur [ well, they make me think of one at any rate!!] The tree is healthy, robust and developing nicely. It needs a season's work on the foliage to make it into a stunning bonsai. The large branch removal area has been carved so any water will drain into the branch removal area on the front.
