Twin Tail Cascade??????

Post by king8484561 »

Hey guys, this is the first Bonsai i ever bought and when i first saw it (maybe due to knowing next to nothing about the art) all i could see was a Casacde style tree with twin tails. I have not seen it done before, but think it would look very nice is i can figure out how to do it right. What do you all think, please give any and all feed back, only through criticism do we truely learn.

Each tail needs to have movement rather than being just straight.

2 tailsa could work as a Mother daughter style but each must mirror the other for movement, and I woud make one of them shorter than the other

Thanks Ken, what do you mean by mother daughter, they are just straight at the moment till i figure out how to give them the right movement. Any thoughts on the top section, better viewed from the back as the front has a branch in the way that i was advised to leave for now to help the tree grow a thicker trunk. it will be removed when the time is right and reveal the front view correctly.

Mother / Daughter is where you have 2 trees / trunks and one is much smaller than the other
think of a mum and daughter walking to school, the image of a Mature tree, with a much younger shorter child

the foliage at the top will help age and thicken the top after a few years and then you can remove it.

Hey guys, can someone please give me some advice on the correct movement to be added to these tails so it will work as a twin tail cascade. A virt or sketch would be most appreciated.
