Styling Suggestions Needed

Post by BGM1971 »

Hi
I purchased this at last years Waverly Bonsai show.
Cyprus.JPG
It was tagged as a Cyprus, but I don't really know what it is! If you someone knows, I'd really appreciate it.
Well I think it's time to do a bit of work on it. I was thinking of lowering the apex, and thinning it out a fair bit.
Here is my thoughts.

Any idea's :?:
Thanks
Brad

Hi Brad
It is Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Coralliformis' ,I have one for the last four years and it does not grow at all .
I use same mix as for chinese juniper and it looks healthy and green but the size has not increased since.

Cheers
Andrew
