Carving Acer ginnala Flame tree.
Hi everyone. Since my last carving accident I haven't been doing a lot of carving lately. So I thought I should give it another go. Here is my carving on one of this year bareroot purchases.

Hi Dk
good to see you havent lost any fingers! thats a fair bit of carving you have done there mate, i will be interested to see how this comes out with some branch building and a full head of foliage.
I reckon the pic that you are asking backside or front I would make it the front mate, maybe a couple more pics from different angles would be good

Re: Carving Acer ginnala Flame tree.
gday mate
those colours are very nice, do you get that colour in bris?
I wouldnt stress right now about how it looks as it needs a good bit of growing to give you options. so let it go for a good few months, you should have some good growth where you can later decide which needs to be kept where, and start building it all mate
