quick shohin stand

Gday all, ive been meening to make 1 of these for a bit
the boss is away 4 the long weekend so i got the factory to my self :)
so this is just a quick mock up .

overall height is 600mm by 500mm wide, will have to play around with the shelf positions.

Strawbs... the design is great but either get larger aspirations and make a stand that your minis will fit on or make minis that will fit on your stand. It all looks a bit like a size 9 foot in a size 5 shoe. Cinderella's stepsisters strike again. Truly, the design is good but I think it definitely needs to be a bit larger to handle the thickness of the wood. WIth the shelf thickness as it is the stand looks clunky - for a stand that size you would do proportionally better with shelving half the thickness to maintain a light and airy arena for small trees.

Do a couple more prototypes, thinner shelves and slightly expanded in size and you will see the difference. Your work looks good enough to consider this a trial run and get it all together the next time.

Gday Mela,
the whole thing is made out of 6mm MDf , i can change all the internal lines to about 10/15mm, think there at 30mm atm.
