[WANTED] Japanese Beech (Fagus Crenata)
Hi, been looking for a Japanese Beech in nurseries around southern Sydney where I live, with no luck. Am trying to get my hands on nursery stock. Despite hearing that the climate may not be conducive to growing a Japanese Beech, I'm still willing to try and get one. Anyone seen somewhere that I can get one, or have one that they may be willing to sell? Post or PM. Thanks, Jamo

Hi Jamo, Fagus crenata is rarely available in this country and thrives in only the coolest parts, I would be very surprised if you could grow it in NSW, I know for a fact that it doesn't flourish in Melbourne. If you are really keen to have one try Yamina rare plants, they may stock them but would probably be grafted.
