Sundays Native Efforts

Post by archie1979 »

Hi everyone,
I thought I might post a quick picture of my efforts today in the beautiful Sydney weather.
I wanted to create a native forest scene, so off I went to the local flower power and picked up myself a few claret tops. Trimmed, clipped and clipped some more then hey presto this is what I cam up with.

If anyone has any input please feel free to post, I am very new to natives and I think this has turned out great.

Cheers everyone

hI Archie, your group looks great the spacings are uneven the trunk heights and thicknesses vary. You have put it together very nicely. The only problem I have is with the tree on the right side which has a very strong un-tapered trunk I reckon you should cut it.

Hi Craig,
Thanks for the input, I can now see what you mean by the tree on the right. It is quite straight and untapered, it would have probably taken me a few days to a couple of weeks to even notice that.
Thats whats great about this forum I guess, so many like minded people that can all help.

Cheers Mate

I agree with craig

Cut that one back to a Brach and then regrow

Once the foliage fills out it will look nice :-)
