anyone have experience in a tulip tree bonsai?

anyone have experience in a tulip tree bonsai?

pinched a couple of large liriodendron tulipeferas that were about to get chucked from work and wondering if anyone here has ever tryed to bonsai one?
leaves are quite large so dont know how leaf reduction will go.
just thought id grab em as an experiement has i have the luxury of doing so.

:shake: The question of tulip tree as bonsai has been asked several times over the years, esp. on the IBC forum, and the answer was invariably that this specie was not suited to bonsai, as the leaves are large and won't reduce, ditto for the flowers. I paid particular attention, as I would have loved to have this beautiful tree as a bonsai. Instead I had it as a garden tree.
