Fig Jam!!

Just. want to share with everyone - I have discovered my Green Island fig is bearing fruit , it may be a small matter for some but is a big moment for me,May have more to do with this Darwin wet than my handywork, Anywhichway it gives me satisfaction. PS anyone want cuttings from my GIF I only have afew that are strikeing roots only too glad to pass some on.

Good for you John. Green Island is very prolific at setting fruit. All mine here on the Fraser Coast are also in full fruit mode. Green Island are also one of the easiest of figs to grow cuttings from. Cut or snap a piece off, stick it in a pot and away it goes.

Great tree to work with as well.
