Port Macquarie area
Hey guys,
I'm currently on the Mid North Coast of NSW, and wondering if any Nurseries etc were in this area (none advertised on line or in Yellow Pages).
If anyone knows of any, please let me know. I'll be here for another week so any help is appreciated.

Re: Port Macquarie area
Hey Josh,
Fish is right, Andrew is at Peats Ridge on the Central Coast and has lots of stuff still, I am at newcastle & have a fair bit that I would consider selling, as well as the few I have listed at moment on the forum. Is a few other members up that way & down here who would probably have stuff to sell as well. All of which is a fair way from Port but could be on your way home depending how your travelling.
As far as bonsai nurseries up Port way nothing that I am aware of, well not bonsai specific, I know there is a club somewhere local to you but couldnt help with contact details.

OOOOOPS. Sorry.
The person at McClean is/was Muller, initial D. Not Wurtz although he was central coast somewhere.

Re: Port Macquarie area
Thanks for your help guys. Was more for having a look, only buying if something exceptional was sticking it's head out.
I'm only up here for another week, then back to Vic. Might be lucky enought to stumble accross something....

Re: Port Macquarie area
Dear Josh
Sorry to tell you there are no bonsai nurseries in the vicinity of Port, not even a good general nursery except for Bonny Hills Garden Centre on Ocean Drive Bonny Hills, nexto the pub (and that's from an inveterate nursery crawler). Apart from that as Grant advised there is Daniel Meuller at Maclean (a three and a half hour drive from Port). If you are interested I could find out his address for you. Enjoy your visit to our beautiful part of the world.
Regards

Re: Port Macquarie area
Chris sells bonsai at a market stall. He is located at Wauchope, 15 minutes from Port. Call him on 6585 3331.
Another option is Corinne, who is selling the last of her collection. She had a lovely maple forest and a carved privet when I saw her before Xmas. There was other stuff too - junipers and a sandpaper fig, etc. Max cost is $300 for old bonsai (20 years plus). She is located at Nambucca Heads, about an hour plus north of Port. Call 6568 6904.
