Callistimon, collected about 2001, in training since 2002.
Height: 42 cm
Trunk across soil: 14 cm Trunk past first jig: 8 cm
The tree has shari and jin, not easy to see with the silvery grey bark
It is robust and easy to look after.

The foliage has been kept in a semi-sparse style to match the hard grown trunk but the tree grows well and could easily be restyled for a more lush look.

I never knew that you could graft callistimon with cat foliage...I'll have to try that!

tree is stunning the marking on the tree are great, so much detail and and activity reminds me of edward scisscorhands or a tree from sleepy hollow
