Very, very inspirational stuff! Mind you the initial tree was something we would all like to have.....

Love the photos of the technique but personally I would not have air layered it so high.

Don't know if it would have worked on the species but I think air layering the roots good have given him a nice nebari sooner. But it is his tree and that is what he wanted so I will live with it.
