IndigiScapes workshop - Cultivating native bonsai

Post by arabicabonsai »

07 May 2011 to 07 May 2011

9.30am- 12.30pm

Redlands IndigiScapes Centre, 17 Runnymede Road, Capalaba
Learn the ancient art of cultivating your own bonsai, with a local native plant from the IndigiScapes nursery. You will learn shaping, wiring and pruning techniques and admire a display of native bonsai from the Redlands Bonsai Society. Trees and pots will be provided, but there is a small cost for soil and wire at the workshop on the day. Note: Bring a sharp pair of scissors (around 10-15cm long) and a small amount of money for soil and wire from Redlands Bonsai Society. All workshops are $5 plus a $25 deposit, refundable on the day. Numbers are limited, so be sure to book early.

:o $5 for a plant, pot and workshop? You couldn't go wrong at that price.
Have a good day and let us distant folk know how it goes.
