First time for photos - my new purchases

Post by Stewart_Toowoomba »

Hi all

This is my first time posting any pics so and would like to share new purchases. Would appreciate some feedback on preferred fronts etc. I picked these three trees up from Tess at Morayfield and was a very happy camper driving home up the range. Gift vouchers are a great invention to help the family give birthday presents you REALLY would enjoy. $100 goes a long way.....

First is a Grewia with lovely movement and plenty of side branches.

Second is a Japanese Holly - OK it probably not a tropical but i wanted to put them all together. Love all the branches i have to choose from. I hadn't even heard of this plant before seeing it at the nursery.

Finally is a Willow leaf Fig. Some lovely branching and a developing nebari.

Hope the photos turn out OK - first time for everything. :lost:
I know members love photos and so would like some feed back and vert's even?

cheers and a happy Easter to all.

Hey Stew, I like the movement in the first plant and the japanese holly. Is it the ilex crenata variety? Good buys :tu:

Hi Stewart , at least you have some movement and branches/ramafication to work with .They certainly are a good score .Look forward to see these progress over the next season or two .Cheers Alpineart

Give them all some space for root and top growth for a season or two to get you some girth on the trunks.

Nice trees.
