Shohins in Pat Kennedy Pots
Hi everyone,
Its been a while since I put up some pictures on here so I thought I'd share some. I've posted the two Juni's here before but in their early stages. I recently acquired some PK pots and thought the trees would look great in them. Tell us what you think.
Apollogies for the quality of the pictures, thats the next thing to buy. A good camera.
Regards,
Mario

Leigh,
Its a date, perhaps make it for sunday if thats possible for you as am still not 100%. I'll bring the Cascade juniper as well so Pat can get a good idea of the pot to make for it. Is it alright if I bring a few others.
cheers

In the meantime, you can improve things with the help of Picasa. See below.Apollogies for the quality of the pictures, thats the next thing to buy. A good camera.
Congratulations on those lovely shohins in 'Pat Pots'! I look forward to seeing more after your photo session with Leigh.
Saw the semi-cascade 'live' last year and wasn't crazy about it. Still am not.
Incidentally, I had trouble finding this thread again after it was posted for the first time. So when are we getting a shohin section on this Forum???? Please????

Very nice combination Of trees and pots and, after careful study, I dont mind the cascade. It needs foliage refinement but i enjoyed the simplicity of it.

Sounds good, let me know when it is and I will try and get there. Also Leigh, do you know when Pat Kennedy will be back in Canberra? I loved what I saw at the last show, but wasn't really sure what to buy, so ended up with nothingLeigh Taafe wrote:James - maybe if you time your next visit to my place - you can see it when we get a photo.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for improving the images of those trees. viewtopic.php?f=131&t=4067 This is link to the original post of the shimpaku when it was first styled. And yes you would have seen both the junipers before. The shimpaku was displayed at our annual show last year and the semi was shown at the previous year '09 mini show.
Ken, Grant, James and Bodhirharma,
Thank you for your comments. I guess the cascade picture does not really do the tree justice. It does however still need a good growing season or two to really show its full potential.
Leigh,
Let me know if Sunday is good for you forr the photo session. Am making adjustments toe the trees and applying moss to make it look better on the day.
Regards,
Mario

Hi Craig,
Thank you for your comment. I should have included the trees dimensions, but I just forrgot
.
Just got back from Leigh's place and he has taken some good shots of the tree. Just the shimpaku tree. Will put them up as soon as Leigh sends me the photo's. He might just put 'em directly onto here.
Cheers,
Mario
