Then talking with someone in WA they believed Needle Blight was already in WA and infact showed me on a pine what dam well looked like Needle Blight to me.
I got curious about this and asked WA quarintine if it was already in WA what was the problem. Well they believe that they don't have it

I understand this may be a touchy subject with people not wanting to tell everyone that they have pines with this but I am hoping some people from WA may be able to shed some light on this and tell me wether they believe they have seen this disease in WA before. Graeme Lukeis is head of the Quarintine Policies in WA and he is double checking if the disease has actually already gotten in as the policy is a very old one. If it is already in WA then what has been portrayed to me is that the restriction would be lifted.
