Pot/Stamp I.D please

Post by Fukien beech »

]HI Guys,

Now I know it may be near impossible to identify this pot but any info would be really appreciated. I am led to believe it is a Japanese pot and that's pretty much all I know. A part of the stamp is worn off and I had no idea which way Japanese writing starts! I have uploaded a stach of photos...hopefully someone can make some sense out of one of them!

many thanks :D

I can read Japanese but cant see the characters. Can you possibly take some photos where the outline of the characters are clear?

EDIT: from the tiny amount of detail there is, I think the character on the bottom right hand corner indicates that its Chinese. The character is "國" and forms part of the word "China" "中國" in chinese. Thats all I can guess with the photos you have taken.
