Could any1 point me in the direction of a good wood hardener?
Some parts of the deadwood on this Baekea are a bit soft for my liking.

Earls wood hardener or lightly wire brush them and lime sulpher them

Earls comes up sort of a satin gloss look and you can get it from the big green shed. You may need to tint the lime sulphur as it may be too white, especially on a native.

Sorry guys but Lime Sulphur is not a preservative. Its a fungicide and may also deter woodborers but nothing more.
In the UK we have something called Ronseal wet rot wood hardener. Its a spirit based clear resin. After its dried, It goes initially milky when wetted but will return to the natural colour of the wood in a week.
