Forest Demo

Post by Gerard »

Last week at the Bonsai Society of Victoria's monthly meeting we were given a wonderful demonstration.
Michael must be complimented for his preparation. It had taken years to assemble various sized specimens of ezo spruce, I believe many of them were from cuttings.
He proceeded to place the trees with a clearly explained thought process.

I am sorry about the picture quality but I hope you get the idea.
These events are happening all the time. if you want to see this kind of thing do yourself a favour and find your local club.

Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

I really like this setting! there isnt as many conifer forests in Aus as I would probably like to see. I think it is an under used style as it can be so effective when done correctly and this one is gonna fill out to be no exception!
SHOHIN YAKUZA!!!
 taking the top half of trees of since 2005!
and growing trees for the future generations! 50+ year plans :D
