Bonsai From The Birds
Hi..
Can anyone ID this tree? I see it fairly common with bright green leaves and mature trees have green berries that turn orange.
It came from the birds either by bird poop or it simply dropped a seed in my back yard as we never planted it. Mum n Dad took care of it ever since it sprouted.
It grew from it's days as a seedling into small tree and just recently had it's transformation work done and is now on its way to becoming a bonsai.
Hope you enjoy it.

Re: Bonsai From The Birds
Hard to tell now since it is all chopped up, but sounds like a pittosporum.

Bit hard to tell with new growth. My guess would be Murraya paniculata (Mock Orange) although you didn't say if it got flowers ?

Flowers, if pollinated, turn into fruit. Therefore anything with fruit has flowers. Just depends on how conspicuous they are.

Re: Bonsai From The Birds
It looks like Coprosma to me as well. Most likely C.repens.
