Alocasuarina sp
Found this Alocasuarina on the side of the road out near millmerran, quite dramatic movement in the trunk, if only i could dig it up

they sometimes do this to themselves whick gives us great inspiration to emulate them
I saw some similar while on a bike ride with Nat at homebush adn posted them here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=953&p=89604&hilit=homebush#p89604
I have t Casuarina growing in the ground, which a have chopped and replanted at a sharp lean angle to tru and get movement out of the ground like these ones

This area i believe is a run off area when it rains, there is a bare track with pretty much no plant life apart from the occasional lingotuber grown casuarina, this was right on the edge of where the tree's grow so possibly been affected by water movent during floods. I love the way nature works of some of these tree's, paticulary some of the ones on creek banks that grow almost horizontally with no lower growth and sand blasted smooth trunks due to years of floods.
