we are all looking forward to it, having Michael S. and Craig W. amongst the traders, there will also be some Lorraine Simpson pots on the club trade table for the ones who missed out previously.

Don't forget to put it in your diary, bring your family and enjoy the rest of the day in the Yarra Valley with lots of things to do or you could take your new treasure to the free workshop Imagination Tree is running that afternoon.

Hi Matt, yes there will be a few (i.e. Craig W, Michael S, myself) - plus a couple of very interesting others with great (big trees) "stuff" including some very nice pots on offer. :tu:

I have a lot of deciduous trunks to take along. these trees have been field grown for 8 years and root pruned annually so next winter when they go into bonsai pots the only root pruning will be a bit of fibre. alternatively they would be great material to grown on for another few years if you want bigger trees
My trees are grown carefully with the sacrifice branches placed low on the trunks to create really good taper and the trunks annually scarred underneath for a good flared root base.
I sure hope there is some interest in these plants

I am certainly "interested" in some more deciduous trunks! particularly ones grown like your trees Craig.

Im going to have to make the trek down from Canberra...I've been saying one day for 3 years so this is a great catalyst!

I quite like the Chardy coming out of the Yarra too!

Interest :o     , Craig, last sale day I bought one of your Leptospermum Petersonii - (Lemon-scented Tea Tree) which had nice overall structure, great nebari, and is still going strong! Since then I've often heard your name linked to recommendations for very good quality stock trees (not to mention trained bonsai). :tu: I'm glad you'll be selling again this time and (as I know word has spread far and wide about this sale day) that interest won't be a problem, especially from those who know what they're looking for. :worship:

I'll be there for sure! had it marked in the diary months ago when I saw the invitation for sellers interest! not to mention I've seen some of the Lorraine Simpson that were picked up by the club (including some absolute one offs) and these will also go very fast.

Looking forward to seeing what's on offer, and I'm sure that it'll be even bigger and better than the first!

Cheers, Ryan

Hey Scott, I'm not a "Local" but been up that way a couple times and past http://www.yorkonlilydale.com.au/accommodation.html on the way, never been inside (large hotel, bar, pokies type place :lost: ) so I don't know what the quality's like, but it's just down the hill from Morrison's and a couple mins walk from The Imagination Tree (Bonsai nursery) as well.

I presume you intend on driving down here?

I'm sure some of the people "more local" to the area would have closer alternatives in mind :?:

Good luck mate :fc: , Ryan
