i repotted my irish strawberry afew days ago to help it grow and noticed its very nice roots, i potted it alittle higher to make the tops of the roots visible
here're some pictures i took earlier
yeah the lighting is pretty bad, especially on the second pic, but if you focus hard enough you should be able to see it
they're very thin but it's a nice spread, it should look pretty nice in afew years, it's still a very bland tree tho

Good work mb, now what you should do is bury those roots with soil. Exposed roots will only harden off and start forming bark,they will not grow as fast when exposed to the air as when they are buried. There is also no need to have the roots exposed at such an early stage of your trees development.
