:gday:
just thought I would share this Azalea I scored at a mates yard .I collected it about 2 months ago
wish all liberated trees had a nebari like this one .have no idea of age or the colour of flowers as I collected it before it flowered ;)
It is just starting to shoot all over so I will cut back further :yes: any ideas for styling welcome

Really Beautiful Mate :-) :cool:
So many options to choose from with all that branching,a nd awesome nebari already :yes: :yes: Maqybe the first Pic as the front but I would remove the nearly horizontal thick section in the end of the left trunk where several branches meet. The other branches there give better taper and are large enough to support the future foliage mass.

The next trunk on the right needs to be shorter than the left one and will be the platform for the second foliage mass, and then the back one pretty much stays as is :yes:

But then again, Pic #13 is also a wonderful trunk line too. :?: :?: Decisions Decisions :lost:

Thanks all for the replies looking forward to next spring to see the colour of it :)
could not believe my luck when i got it home and washed all the dirt and weeds away from the base :o
single trunk azaleas are a rare find down here , mind you Kens latest progression series has given some me some ideas on how to style clumps ,

Hi Jason,

Dude, it looks great from the first pic :tu:
Leave her to recover before rushing to style..

I would just leave as is and just build healthy growth from main branches to produce 3 different sectional pads. Slowly does it :whistle:
