Sandpaper fig (Ficus coronata). To collect or not to collect

Post by Hornet »

No pics sorry, forgot my cam when i found this. Anyway was out today to get feeder fish and phasmid food and came across a sorry looking sand paper fig. 4 or 5 trunks, 3 or 4m tall but with most of the branches dead due to being smashed by floods. The reason i was thinging about this one is its only holding on by 1 root and the tree can be picked up and moved around as is so would be very easy to get out and would probably be washed away in the next floods anyway. Will get pics in the next week if i remember. Didnt get a good look at the base due to it being covered in flood debris
