NATIONAL BONSAI CONVENTION 2019 – Part 4

I hope that by breaking the standard bonsai exhibition way of doing things we will see many more Australian native plant exhibitions in the future.

Of course the difficulty is to get quality bonsai on show but one of the things I took away from the convention in Melbourne was that Australian natives grow quite quickly when given the ideal growing conditions so there is the challenge for all of us.

Melaleuca bracteata
Eucalyptus pulchella
Brachychiton bidwillii
Leptospermum madidum sativum (Silver weeping tea tree)
Wollemia nobilis – (Wollemi Pine)
Not the best photo but I thought it would be good to include this because of the species history.
Melaleuca incana
