I had a plan to post a photo of one of my trees each week this year, and all was on track until I had an issue with the availability of my internet coverage. My provider took in excess of five weeks to rectify the situation and that left a very unhappy customer. So that is the situation and I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service provided.

All that said I now have a few weeks and posts to catch up on and I hope to do that over the next few weeks.

This tree (shrub) was given to me a couple of years ago by a local nursery that couldn’t sell the last three they had because the stems were not straight. I gave two away to other members of the local bonsai society and kept this one for myself. I understand it will never be a classic bonsai specimen, but I enjoy it for its simplicity and colorful leaves.
