Zelcova – Trim Time

It is that time of the year where a lot of deciduous trees need some maintenance. This Zelcova serrata was “rescued” from a garden quite a few years ago and has been in training for about eight years or so.

It will grow into the preferred shape again very soon. This is a shohin and I think has a reasonable lower trunk so in a few more years this may be a reasonable bonsai.
