There were a large number of people at the convention and many more who visited the exhibition.

There were a number of bonsai related items for sale from a number of vendors and I believe all were very pleased with the weekend trade.

  1. HI Watto,
Just wanted to compliment you on your blog and in particular on the photos of the exhibition. I wasn’t able to get good pics myself, as my camera had developed a fault and I wanted to send a photo of my tree in the show to my brother in Holland. Yours did beautifully.
I also read your notes, which will come in very useful. I have various pines that I’ve treated more or less according to experience and ideas, which hasn’t worked too badly, but that doesn’t mean that good advice isn’t welcome! Yes, Ryan Neil was a top demonstrator and very enjoyable to watch and to listen to.
    With thanks,

    Lisa

  2. Wow, thanks for sharing your photos of the show. High quality trees and beautifully captured.

Have just clicked on your blog and have enjoyed all your posts.

I can imagine that you have a lot of time putting this together and it is very much appreciated. Hope others discover your blog and appreciate your efforts.

    Fiona

  3. Hi, Great photos!!

Is it just me or does the (Black?) Pine below the maple group need a serious haircut. A lovely tree no doubt but I feel it isn’t up to convention standard as it clearly needs thinning. I’d be interested to hear the thoughts of others?
