In the last remaining garden was a large juniper and a couple of large Chaemecyperus and a Callistimon. Today I went for a walk and knocked on the door to see if any others were being removed.
The Owner was a nice retired lady that said she could not look after the gardens and her son was removing them for her.
I asked If I could take some and the magic words, "Take what you like" ensued

I went home and collected a barrow and digging tools this arvo
The Juniper had been flattened but maybe will make something nice, but everything else is far to big. the Callistimon is a bout 9 ft tall and with trunk girth of nearly 18 inches. I have enough large trees, but would be a great collect as it has low branches and trunk separation.
Here is the Juni I collected and potted up
The soil was that horrible brown topsoil that never wets properly, and the rootball was all tangled up with the roots of the tree nest to it so I hosed them out and cleaned them up

Hope it recovers
