which appears to be possibly a Robin on a flowering cherry branch in bud . I assume its a bonsai kit and not a surgeons kit as the owner has stated . God help the poor bugger that needed surgery if thats the case . Thanks for any help to find its origin , all i know is it was purchased many years ago by the owner . He suggested i use it to cut my leg off myself to save the surgeons another stuff up .

Hi ya Alpineheart, nice Ikebana Set, not sure of the age it would be early last Century I would say.
A very good friend of ours Elsie Patterson was into Ikebana and was an accredited teacher, she had a very similar set.

IN THE LIGHT OF KNOWLEDGE ATTAINED, ACHIEVEMENT IS WITHIN SIGHT
Hi Guys Ikebana Kit it is . Just for those who thought it was a surgical kit , no fool would have wooden handled and bone inlaid surgical equipment or even vet equipment . Imagine the issues with bacteria and sterilization .Is a hacker and chopper close to a ripper !!!
Thanks Pup , its a very nice piece the owner paid $5 close to $20 years go . Still i recon i could do a bit of surgery with it and probably better than the job done on my leg .
