Unknown tool roll
Hi Guys could anybody here be able to put a maker on this tool roll or a possible era , all tools a basically razor sharp possibly stainless steel . The wooden handle look like teak or blackwood and 2 items have white bone inlays on the shafts . The only identification or markings is on the grafting knifewhich appears to be possibly a Robin on a flowering cherry branch in bud . I assume its a bonsai kit and not a surgeons kit as the owner has stated
. God help the poor bugger that needed surgery if thats the case
. Thanks for any help to find its origin , all i know is it was purchased many years ago by the owner . He suggested i use it to cut my leg off myself to save the surgeons another stuff up
.

I'd call it a surgeons kit, maybe vet?

Well, that is just interesting isnt it. Could be a home made tool roll for a fastidious gardener

Looks like a medical or surgeons kit with that syringe thingy in it. Throw some luminol on it and see if it strobes.

Hi ya Alpineheart, nice Ikebana Set, not sure of the age it would be early last Century I would say.
A very good friend of ours Elsie Patterson was into Ikebana and was an accredited teacher, she had a very similar set.
Nice one mate keep those bloody surgeons honest Mrs Pup went to see hers today re her knee, she is very happy with the out come at the moment he is going to do the same with this as the last, which she is very happy, about.
Edit for a PS it is more like a Tanuki.

Hi Guys Ikebana Kit it is . Just for those who thought it was a surgical kit , no fool would have wooden handled and bone inlaid surgical equipment or even vet equipment . Imagine the issues with bacteria and sterilization .Is a hacker and chopper close to a ripper !!!
Thanks Pup , its a very nice piece the owner paid $5 close to $20 years go . Still i recon i could do a bit of surgery with it and probably better than the job done on my leg .
