Bonsai Society of Qld Bonsai Exhibition
Next weekend on the 8th & 9th of Sept will be the 34th Annual Bonsai Exhibition of the Bonsai Society of Queensland Inc. As always this will be held in the Auditorium at the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens and is open from 9am till 4pm both days with an entry fee of $5. Demonstrations will be conducted at 11am and 2pm on both days by some of our most experienced members.
There will be around 100 Bonsai on display as well as a display of Suiseki and Viewing Stones from around the world. There is a mix of informal and formal display of Bonsai and an entry feature garden. Trophies are awarded for the best Bonsai in different size categories, and there is a Peoples Choice vote as well. An extensive trade area is there for you to purchase a wide range of Bonsai products from traders and members with some great bargains on offer. There is also a raffle available for the chance to win yourself a Bonsai.
This year we welcome members of the AABC Ltd executive and delegates for their AGM at 2pm.
Hope to see you there.

Thanks Shannon
Under 40cm winner is a Clerodendrum. I think that's how you spell it.
I will be getting some more pics, and some more work done, on my demo tree today. It is the air layer I took from the Juni in a post here a while ago.
Open from 9 till 4 today, so come and say G'day.
