Yep, they look real good together Jarrod. I would love to see the combo in flower. What colour does does the Bracts produce?

This one has bright purple bracts so the colour combo will only get better! I can't wait to see it flower either :D

Jarrod....It's coming along nicely, that pot style and colour is great!...bougies in the ground are flowering like mad over here at the moment, when it warms up over there,it may take off soon.It would be tempting to concentrate on fertilising/lack of repotting for the sake of flowers, but branch development/refinement is probably the way to go for now!...Looking good mate :) ....Dog.

Yeah I agree, it won't be repotted for a few years now it has the right pot. I will cut it back really hard and wire it all out. Then let it go bananas all season with out touching it. This will hopefully get it to flower even if it is out of shape when it happens. This year has been a slightly cooler spring but it alread has loads of shoots coming on so it is very healthy at the moment.

Veeerrrrry interesting Jarrod.I forgot how nice that pot was. The background is not doing you any favors though. Time for a bit of specialist photography. All in all i like the combination very much. If any comment is forthcoming it would be to lower the left hand branch some. Jealous of the bougy, mine all die.

Stunning Boug, stunning training, stunning pot and stunning flowers. Have to agree with Bonhi tho'. I'd really love to see that first left side branch bought down a fair bit. I think it would ballance the tree out. Might have to bring a few of the branches above it down a bit as well, if you do. Congratulations on a stunning tree.

Looks fantastic dude!! love it!!
Purple is one of the few colours that WILL work well with yellow pots.
I am a MASSIVE sucker for yellow pots. I don't know why, I just love them!!

Yup, that's the real colours, straight from camera.

Tree needs a hard prune and full wire, but looks too mice :D
