Great looking tree bodhi and in three years i'm sure it will be even more outstanding. I feel that a bit more of the dead wood needs to be carved out or even just the section on the left side which will give some shadow to that side of the hollow, this is only my opinion. I am sure you will have a cracker of a tree no matter what you do from here. Well done.
Cheers Mark

Looking good Bodhi

At this rate 12 - 18 months should be good enough.

Wow.

I've never been and still not convinced about this species...

Putting preferences aside this is an amazing job and has gone a long way to budging my stubborn tastes!

they are an underrated tree and i am also surprised not more people are working on these. I think the biggest problem is, like english elms, they are way TO busy and need a lot of work to keep them in check. Some people also have an aversion to weeds which they should learn to get over.

I have 2 bubs going at the moment, one in a pot posing as a cascade and the other in the ground as a something I haven't decided on yet :palm:
As much as they are a noxious species in Australia they are plentiful and hard to kill, makes for a good starter. I have seen one growing out of a car door next door to where I am currently working

Nice work Bodhi :tu:
