i collected this tree today any chance for an id
the photo of the flower is of the same tree near by that has a few flowers starting to pop up

Hi Matt,
I'm pretty confident your tree is some kind of Prunus. It has double flowers so probably an ornamental variety but I can't make out whether its a flowering peach or cherry or maybe some sort of plum. Some closeup pics of the buds and some clearer shots of the bark will help a bit.

Looks like a bush cherry to me, I have one that has many flowers that form on the stems before leaves, flowers look very similar.
