hey everyone :wave:

i collected this tree today any chance for an id :?:
the photo of the flower is of the same tree near by that has a few flowers starting to pop up
sorry for the poor quality photos ill try and get some more tomorrow

Hi Matt,
I'm pretty confident your tree is some kind of Prunus. It has double flowers so probably an ornamental variety but I can't make out whether its a flowering peach or cherry or maybe some sort of plum. Some closeup pics of the buds and some clearer shots of the bark will help a bit.

Looks like a bush cherry to me, I have one that has many flowers that form on the stems before leaves, flowers look very similar. :imo:
