I just want to know if anyone on the NSW Mid North Coast knows where I can find somewhere to buy a Japanese Red Maple. Looking for something young as I don't have a whole heap of cash.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well... Ray Nesci has them for sale at his nursery in Dural, but not sure about Forster. Maybe you can go for a little getaway drive.
Otherwise, regular nurseries sometimes have them, but generally they just stock the standard Japanese Maple.

I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.

Forgot to mention.... just so you know, these guys (red jm), are really prone to root rot, so don't overwater, and make sure they get stacks of sun. You can sometimes add an anti rotting liquid, ... think it is called Rid Rot, but they are very annoying the red ones for this reason.ma7t wrote:Cheers mate, heading to Sydney next month so I might have to pop in for a look.
