Landscape tidied up
I thought I started this in another post but I can't find it anywhere. I have had this sitting on the bench for quite sometime and decided it needed a clean up. I'll post the progression from the start as I can't find the original post.

Re: Landscape tidied up
So I let it grow for a while then I pruned the trees as they back bud like crazy and throw shoots from the same spot and cause reverse taper. I removed any branches I didn't want and wired the trees.

Looking very nice, makes me want to create one myself. Love the look of the moss

Re: Landscape tidied up
Hi Bonborn, that was the feel I was going for, kinda like a walk through an English forest.bonborn wrote:beautiful, looks amazing. Feel like walking amongst the trees.

The moss is looking really good. Gives a real natural feel to it. I look at the moss on the rocks and think of a damp gully somewhere.Jason wrote:Looking very nice, makes me want to create one myself. Love the look of the moss
Got another one I'm working on but waiting for the trees growjimsai wrote:nice looking scape, looking forward to more,

Hi Bougy, they were label as dwarf Elms when I bought them. That's all I know. They back bud like crazy although they are brittle.Bougy Fan wrote:What kind of trees are they ? My guess is Japanese Elm ?

Re: Landscape tidied up
Cleaned the landscape up a bit and discovered it was growing toadstools. They give it a real natural feel.
