Ficus leaves dangerous for dogs?

Post by ahpat »

Hi All,
I am a newbie and looking to get a indoor ficus display piece in the house but I also happen to have a delicate indoor dog. I was told that the leaves could be or are dangerous to dogs that eat it.
Does anybody know and if this is the case I would not want to risk it and will look to other types of Bonsai but from what I have read, the choices are very limited.

Thanks for all your help,
ahpat
