Called in today just for a browse ended up going home with some nice pots, dirt cheap! Hugh and Ash were super helpful, awesome array of stock. Look forward to going back and giving them more business.

So, I popped into BW the other day and I would just like to let you all know they have dug up a bunch of swampy stumps as well as a couple of mels (and grevillias?) that look amazing. I should have taken some photos...

**THIS WEEKEND AFTER/BEFORE THE AUSBONSAI MARKET DAY**
Just remember, for all those coming North or West to grab a bargain at the Ausbonsai Market Day this Sunday:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=21205
drop in and visit our local nursery "Bonsai World" in Jilliby up here on the Central Coast afterwards. Or go on Saturday and have an awesome weekend for both days.
A perfect way to finish off a great bonsai day. The nursery has really thick trunks and at really cheap prices too.
I have found good homes for many of Ashley's stock trees in my backyard.

Re: Opening of 'Bonsai World' on the central coast
Picked up a great squamata yesterday. I'm finding myself in there at least once a week now that I have discovered the place.
Heading to the free workshop next Sunday. So I'll have to make sure to get a few photos to share here.
Great little nursery with plenty of good stock. I recommend a visit or three.

Yeah, some pics of their stock/range would be good. A long way to travel, so would be good to see an overview of what's on offer before doing a day trip.

It's not that far Mate. Well worth the trip as long as you remember your wallet.
Ashley will be at the market day tomorrow, have a chat with him.

I will make sure to get some pics next weekend. I agree, not that far really. Although I do live on the coast. Always happy to travel for some good bonsai though. I was out at Kenthurst yesterday and am aiming for Caringbah in a couple of weeks.

Here is a pic of a J. squamata stock plant that I picked up on Friday arvo. Am about halfway or less through the initial hard prune. I repotted same day. Gives an idea of the Junipers available at Bonsai World. Good shape, good bark, healthy plant, excellent price.
