Aussie handmade pots from the YVBS Sale Day

Whilst at the YVBS sale day last Sunday, a bit of wheeling and dealing saw me bring some beautiful handmade pots. A great day chatting with 3 very talented potters (hchm ceramic artists ) left me with so much variety to choose from, the decision was hard, so I just had to collect from all 3. Just love the different textures, glazing and details!

Yeah, it reminds me of some of Pat's cracking finishes, yet a bit more subtle, sort of crossed with the refined unglazed Japanese style. I like it!

I can't go past Aussie hand made, so many different styles and techniques! I did mention I really liked this translucent blue dribble glaze over the rough texture ... and apparently this IS one of his older pots but that he may go back and do some more like this for future work

Hi Pat, hard to tell from front on photos, but first Marg Fenn pot (cracking effect) is oval Glad I got my Pat K ovals when I did good to hear you're enjoying life catch a big one for me
