Post by cottie »

This is a pine that I collected in August 2014, it was slip potted into its current pot in September this year.

Such a fine little fluff ball. Some growers don't like them. I personally don't mind them when they are done properly. Keep on it and don't let any one tell you any different. Eventually you can make one in to a great tree.

Nice collect, Radiatas do grow quick and you can get a good result in a relatively short time. Especially if you plant them in the ground for a few years.

I have a couple and do find that you need to stay on top of them. I still do not know how and when to needle prune but i'll leave that for another post.

I have spent the morning playing with this pine, I'm still very much a beginner but I'm enjoying working with this tree.
