Happy Fathers Day
A new potting bench.
Already have instructions to make a cut out in the top for a small drop in sink.
To catch your mess she says.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
NO HINT..All set up now.
Went to Wanterna Market with the Mrs and found a couple of old 'Bay Marie' trays.
Cut out and instant drop pit for cuttings and pot removal jobs.
Checker plate Ally I also snagged from a seller packing up..In all $5 each for a pair of trays and $10 for the TT top.
Tools packed away and storage for lots of stuff..Added a fluro light..That little bit extra when your trying to remove thin wire semi indoors.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
Nice present and a Happy Father's Day to all Father's!!!
Managed to repot mine over the weekend with my 3yr daughter, awesome to have a helper!
A cabinet would be nice, currently just lug a box of inpromtu bonsai-esque tools around.
[edit: didn't notice the last pic shows the feet, sorry] Couldn't see from the pics, but is the cabinet on wheels? Or easy to carry outside?
Personally I find it much more enjoyable working in amongst the potted forest.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
No wheels Daniel but food for thought..May have to sneak a shopping trolley in the yard for a 'gone in 60 seconds job'...legoman_iac wrote:Nice present and a Happy Father's Day to all Father's!!!

The local ferals leave them all around the street so an abundant supply of wheels is always available..

Re: Happy Fathers Day
I'd recommend the local bunnings ... they have a good selection of castor wheels for a variety of payloads. Bought some for my telescope.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
That is a lovely pot Ken. I love her pots.
Now that you mention it, I am on the hunt for some pots for my 3 competition entries too.
Last time I spoke to Penny she was having kiln issues and wanting to upgrade her large kiln. I hope she has it sorted because her free form lichen covered pots are just astonishing.
I spent Fathers Day in the hospital with my daughter. Happy Fathers Day me! At least she is better now....just a really hot virus with a mean rash to match.
We had gone to Darling Harbour on Saturday night and I couldn't believe it.... they had fireworks there on the harbour! My kids were very surprised but very excited.
Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Chinese Gardens....but the Brewhouse Brewery there at Darling Harbour... wow, awesome beers on tap, and their stouts and ales are just amazing.
