Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition - The Photos
Our little society had a great weekend and that is because of the hard working few that give their all and all our visitors who without them it wouldn't be worth the effort. A number of people said very kind things about our display setup and about the trees on display so we went away with some pride.
Anyway, following are a few of the trees that were displayed.
These are not all of them and if you want a look at all of them, they are on my blog.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Steve - the box is in an old Pat Kennedy pot, looks like the owner will have to have something imported!

Ken - The Peoples Choice Award was the root over rock Chinese Elm. You will have to have a look at the blog.

Re: Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition - The Photos
I made the trip north and it was good to catch up with some friendly faces. For a very small group the Goulburn crew put on a great show, Viv put on a great display with some lovely glazes, and Watto was, as always, Mr. Congeniality, but Watto, I've searched the photos....where's the green pot??!?
Cheers,
Pat

Cheers,
Pat

ahhh...thanks Watto. Funny how the mind plays tricks...I was sure it was green but I see now that it's probably a rutile blue with something extra and lots of movement...lovely!

Yeah it was a striking green when I saw it too Pat. I would definitely have said it was green too. It was a lovely pot. Who made it Watto?Pat K wrote:ahhh...thanks Watto. I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.
