Melaleuca alternifolia clump

Post by Hanro »

85cm H 100cm W 90cm D

Dug from a plantation in 2015 with a tractor bucket. Still, lots of work to do. Due to the brittle branches it’s a slow process.

Thats cool Peter.

Again, you have a great eye for making your bonsai look like actual trees.
Rory
I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.

Hi Rory,
Thanks,

I do try ,partially with Eucalypts but I do have a mixture of contemporary Japanese and Penjingy looking trees as well. Currently fighting with a design for a large Banksia serrata .

As Rory said, you've captured the natural growth pattern well. I saw some spectacular ones in Northern Tassie, and photographed them with infrared. You can see the shapes well.

Thanks,

The infrared does give a different aspect to the trees. I see many stands on the sth coast of NSW.

Peter
