Good work you have done on this Antonio. It is always a buzz when the  pops on and the inner tree becomes a reality.

Would have still made a nice tree if you left it as a broom, wouldn't have been a total loss.

Its a custom made six string acoustic by one of Australia's finest luthier. I dont buy mass produced factory name brands like martin, taylor, etc. Not as good as buying straight from a master luthier. Anyway his name is Barry Kerr and lives down in victoria somewhere.Im paying off a $6000 guitar, Australian blackwood fiddle for the back and flamed redwood top, casurina fretboard, abolone shell around the borders. I bought a flamed cypress guitar a few years back from him for over $4000 and the sound on that has matured unbelievably!! I compared the sounds with some of the $10000 to $15000 guitars on the market today and perhaps Im biased but I think my flamed cypress beats them all hands down. Barry makes guitars costing up to $25000, especially his Jazz guitars. Alot of money, but he is a master and all his guitars will someday be like pieces of historic australian art and he doesnt make many guitars a year. He has quite a few pretty famous musicians who uses his guitar. Anyway Im not trying to promote him, but if you ever want a great guitar, he is one of the most genuine, sincere blokes Ive ever met.

The dead wood has been rejigged, some new features added. It now needs to go and weather for a couple of years again. The tree is starting to fill out now, i expect a significant change in the next 12 months. This late spring i hope to get it into a rectangular pot where it can really show off its masculinity. Trunk ratio here is 2:1, yet far from sumo. IMO :D 8-) ;)

Gsss, your mistakes worked great :) Man I love olives now. By da way, is it a wild olive or a commercial fruiting olive?

I guessed it is wild as the leaves look smaller, rounder and shinnier. Can't find any of them around Brissy antt. If you have any of these medium size olives with good flare and taper and reasonable price tag, please put one aside for me. I'll be eternally grateful :)
Cheers,
DK
