Its a custom made six string acoustic by one of Australia's finest luthier. I dont buy mass produced factory name brands like martin, taylor, etc. Not as good as buying straight from a master luthier. Anyway his name is Barry Kerr and lives down in victoria somewhere.Im paying off a $6000 guitar, Australian blackwood fiddle for the back and flamed redwood top, casurina fretboard, abolone shell around the borders. I bought a flamed cypress guitar a few years back from him for over $4000 and the sound on that has matured unbelievably!! I compared the sounds with some of the $10000 to $15000 guitars on the market today and perhaps Im biased but I think my flamed cypress beats them all hands down. Barry makes guitars costing up to $25000, especially his Jazz guitars. Alot of money, but he is a master and all his guitars will someday be like pieces of historic australian art and he doesnt make many guitars a year. He has quite a few pretty famous musicians who uses his guitar. Anyway Im not trying to promote him, but if you ever want a great guitar, he is one of the most genuine, sincere blokes Ive ever met.anttal63 wrote:yeah ed very similar! cant wait to see them now. what kind of guitar???
