this is my firt attempt at fusing 25 tridents, i am going to show progression shot so il keep everyone updated on how they go its going to be a long wait but i think they will fuse well and look nice, i got them of alpine.
i put them it the pot at the end of july. cheers simo

Nice work simo, now you just got to feed, water and wait...till the trunks thicken enough to touch each other at the base and fused.

Hi Simo , nice to see what your up to with those whips .Since fusing these last year from very small seedlings i found the if the dont touch they grow independant and grow away from each other .I tried 150 lots using different fusing methods .Secured with string , cord , wire , twist ties , plaiting , twisting , the majority didn't work as the wrapping was too loose or the string rotted off , even twist ties wrapped around and not tied failed as the trunks expanded the tie unraveled and they turned out real ugly .
Personally i would introduce some of your little seedlings in between each whip and blend them in to your frame securely with string or rubber bands . Buy the time the growing season is over it should be nicely fusing together as the seedlings will grow a little quicker and fill the gaps as they grow .Cheers Alpine
